Chairman NAB visits under construction site of Headquarters building

ISLAMABAD, : Mr. Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Chairman, NAB reviewing the physical progress work of under construction work of new building of NAB Headquarters

ISLAMABAD, Jun 8: Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) visited the under construction site of the office building for National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Headquarters at Sector G-5/1 Islamabad here Monday.He reviewed the physical progress made on the ground and in the construction work of under construction work of the new building of NAB Headquarters.
During the briefing, it was informed by DG NAB, HQ that in the light of the directions of Chairman NAB during his last visit on the under construction site, the construction work is in progress and structure of the basement, lower  ground floor, ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor have been completed as per schedule. Roof of the 4th floor, water interception system, aluminum foil fixing, bituminous sheet around the basement and work on front podium is under progress.
The Chairman NAB directed that all efforts should be made to complete the 4 th floor on 25th June 15, 2015, ensuring all quality standards in accordance with PPRA rules as per schedule.
The Chairman NAB, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry directed DG NAB Headquarters, DG, PWD, Consultants and Contractor to complete the remaining construction work of the project according to the approved schedule. He said there will be no compromise on the quality of material and progress of the construction work. He reiterated that all codal formalities in tendering/award of remaining construction works etc be completed transparently in accordance with government rules/policy.
