Pakistani students delegation visits Pak Embassy in Berlin


BERLIN, Jul 23: A delegation of 30 students from Roots School, Islamabad and 5 students from SUFFA DHA University, Karachi visited the Pakistan Embassy Berlin here today.
They were accompanied by Mr. Andrews Geddes, Director Programme, Euroasia Institute, Berlin that organized 3-weeks study tour of these students to Germany.
Charge’ d’affairs, Mr. Ameer Khurram Rathore briefed the students about Pakistan Germany relations in the field of education and said that efforts were underway to get enhanced the number of German scholarships for Pakistani students and for the establishment of active links among the German and Pakistani Universities in important disciplines of Science and Technology.
Mr. Andrews Geddes, briefed the students about the educational/cultural exchange programmes  between their institute and different universities of Pakistan. He informed that the Institute conducted a 2 weeks camp in Berlin to enhance the German language skills of the students so they can take it up to higher level. The Euroasia Institute also provides the advisory services to the international students for studying in Germany as well help them finding jobs after completion of their studies in Germany, he added.
The briefing was followed by Q & A session.Mr. Andrews thanked the Embassy for organizing this event, says a press release received here today from Berlin.
