KARACHI, Jul 28: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday declared banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s (TTP) Chief Mullah Fazalullah, spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid and others as proclaimed offenders in the case pertaining to attack on a bus carrying Special Security Unit (SSU) personnel.

At least three SSU commandos were killed and 19 others injured in the attack on their bus on 18 March 2015 near Karachi’s Quaidabad area. TTP had claimed the responsibility for the blast.

On the last hearing of the case, Investigation officer informed the court that he was not able to trace the location of absconding accomplices including Fazalullah, Shahid, TTP commander Muhammad Khurasani, Dawood Mehsood, Akbar Mehsood, and other. ATC-I judge had directed the Investigation officer to complete the process of proclamation of the absconding accomplices and get the details of property owned by them for it confiscation.

The court declared all the suspects as proclaimed offenders under section 87 (proclamation for a person absconding) CrPc.
