Indus at high flood in Guddu and Sukkur

SUKKUR, Jul 31: The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the  reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
According to a release from Wapda House Lahore, rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 362200 cusecs and Outflows 333000 cusecs,  Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 103700 cusecs and Outflows 103700 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 65900 cusecs and Outflows  60000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 110800 cusecs and Outflows 82400 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 407100 cusecs and Outflows 399500 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 466100 cusecs and Outflows 461600  cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 526800 cusecs and Outflows 526800 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 138600 cusecs and Outflows 135100 cusecs,  Guddu: Inflows 585900 cusecs and Outflows 582200 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 540300 cusecs and Outflows 523300 cusecs, Kotri:  Inflows 203500 cusecs and Outflows 200900 cusecs.
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1544.00 feet,  maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage  today 6.090 million acre feet (MAF). Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1236.35 feet, maximum  conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.960 MAF. Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 642  feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.073 MAF.

The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been  reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
