Pak, Saudi Arabia vow to further cement bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD ,Aug 5:  The recently arrived Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan  Mr. Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani paid his first courtesy call on the SAPM, Syed Tariq Fatemi, here Wednesday.
The SAPM welcomed the Ambassador-designate, expressed his best wishes for the success of his assignment in Pakistan and assured him of the fullest support of the Government of Pakistan in this regard.
The SAPM highlighted the special fraternal nature of relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He underscored that Pakistan wished to further enhance cooperation with the Kingdom in all areas of mutual interest.
The Ambassador-designate expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he had received in Pakistan, which was reflective of the respect the people of Pakistan had for the brotherly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He added that he was under instructions from his leadership to focus on further strengthening of bilateral ties with Pakistan, in order to raise it to new levels of cooperation.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on ways to enhance bilateral relations, and the regional situation.
