Qaim takes exception to protest registered MQM MPAs

KARACHI, Aug 10:  Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah took strong exception to ruckus created by legislators belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement during the provincial assembly session on Monday.
Talking to journalists on the assembly premises, he said the commotion to register killing of a worker for which necessary assurance was also extended concerned authorities was beyond comprehension.
“They had called off strike after the assurance by Sindh Rangers for necessary investigation and consequent action against those responsible,” said  Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
Reiterating that trend to suspend assembly proceeding meant to do legislation and protect public interest must be discontinued, the Chief Minister said Sindh Rangers have been allowed to continue with its operation in the interest of citizens.
Operation is against terrorists across the province, said Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
Other legislators including Sindh Information Minister also registered their reservations about the protest registered by MPAs belonging to MQM  causing suspension of assembly proceedings.
