No compromise on Karachi operation: Pervez Rashid

ISLAMABAD, Aug 13: Information Minister Pervez Rashid has said that no compromise will be made on the Karachi operation and will continue till its logical conclusion.  
“The Karachi operation is directed against only and only criminals. It is not correct to give it another hue. This operation has restored peace in the metropolis city. The operation will continue and no compromise will be made on it,” he said while talking to media persons here on Thursday.
The information minister went on to say that the citizens of Karachi have expressed satisfaction over the operation and its their full right to live in peace.
He said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah did not believe that politics was for the sake of power and instead he believed in hard work.  “All political parties should follow in his footprints and pursue the politics of principles,” he said adding that suicide jackets and target killings will to achieve Quaid’s goals.
“Politics and crimes are two separate things,” he said adding that the matter of MQM’s en block resignation was political one which should be addressed politically. The political parties should accept their past mistakes and move ahead to achieve a bright future.
