Terrorists will not be allowed to regroup at any cost: COAS, PM

ISLAMABAD,: Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif exchanges views with Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif during meeting at PM House in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Aug 18: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister (PM)  Nawaz Sharif here on Tuesday and discussed important matters including  security situation of the country.
The meeting was also attended by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
Army chief apprised PM of headway made  in operation Zarb-e-Azb and actions taken under National Action Plan (NAP).
PM expressed satisfaction over Pakistan army actions against the terrorists and expressed his resolve to continue operation till the last terrorist is eliminated.
The two leaders affirmed that the terrorists will not be allowed to regroup in the country.
Sources told Online that both the leaders expressed their grave concern over Attock tragedy and agreed on arresting and bringing the perpetrators to justice at every cost. They also voiced concern over violations of ceasefire agreement by India.
Agenda of talks between National Security Advisors (NSAs) of Pakistan and India also came under discussion. Advisor to PM on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz briefed the both leaders in details with reference to agenda of talks.  Army chief was taken into confidence on this count.
Sources said that matter of security situation with Afghanistan and India also featured in the meeting.
