Islamabad, Aug 26: The BISP may facilitate the corporate sector to carry on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities through its data. On scientific basis, BISP may help them to identify the areas where they can contribute to the welfare of the poorest of the poor. It was stated by the Minister of State and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) MNA Marvi Memon in her address during the 10th CEO Summit Asia 2015 with the theme “Believe in Pakistan” and book launch of “100 performing CEOs, leaders and companies of Pakistan 2015”. The event was organized by CEO Club Pakistan and Manager Today Magazine and was attended by CEOs of national and international companies, diplomats and the politicians. In her opening remarks, Chairperson BISP congratulated the business community for their leadership, creating organizational brilliance and enhancing human capacities for the country. She said if we believe in Pakistan, we need to demonstrate excellence in every field. Nothing short of hundred percent excellence is actually belief in Pakistan. She stated that she is honored to be part of government and BISP and we believe in the welfare of the vulnerable segments of society. BISP, with more than 2000 employees and 500 field offices, is serving 5.1 million poor beneficiaries with the purpose of giving dignity, empowerment and meaning to their lives under the vision of the present government. We are striving to make BISP pride of Pakistan.
