Current PSDP includes 211 new development projects


Islamabad, dec.06: Two hundred and eleven new development projects have been included in the current financial year’s Federal Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) to achieve the targeted GDP growth.

Sources in the Ministry of Planning and Development said that 241 billion rupees have been allocated for these projects against the estimated cost of 1675 billion rupees.
In addition 3.4 billion rupees have been allocated for twenty-six new projects for the development and promotion of agriculture sector.
These include Cluster development based agriculture transformation plan, Milk and meat supply chain improvement and support to livestock production, construction of small dams and Makhi Farash link canal project for water supply to Thar Coal.
