HYDERABAD, Mar 2: Chairman Sindh National Front and former chief minister Sindh has said he was not against integrity and unity of Pakistan but his party wants to follow Pakistan Resolution of 1940 under which federating units were given commitment to remain sovereign with only 3 subjects of defense, foreign affairs and communications with center.

He said this was program of Quaide Azam Jinnah and Quaide Awam Bhutto. We are against separation of Sindh from Pakistan but need political, social and economic rights under 1940 Resolution.
He was addressing a seminar on “today’s question and student politics” held here under banner of Sindh National Students Federation. Criticizing Asif Zardari, he said he remained in power for 9 years during which he looted national wealth and built palaces abroad rendering Sindh barren. He reminded that once G.M.Syed told him that Sindhu Desh tehrik has failed and asked his workers to follow his ( Mumtaz’s) line of politics. He said country has been turned as source of loot and plunder. He said proof of inefficiency of rulers was that shrine like Qalander was not safe. He said Zardari poses himself as emperor and never sets his foot on land of Pakistan but when he comes out of plane he walks on carpet laid for him. This was ample proof of his hatred for Pak land of Pakistan. He asked workers and specially students to forge unity to save Pakistan from terrorism and corruption of Zardari.
Ayub Shar, Hashim Khoso of Jeay Sindh Mahaz,Zulfiqar Halepoto of PTI and others also spoke on the occasion.
