HYDERABAD: President Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Goharullah has said that sealing of industries at SITE Hyderabad by Sindh Environmental Protection Agency has adversely affected industrial production.
He said his top priority was development of industry. He asked Sindh government to extend cooperation to improve infrastructure of industrial areas. Talking at reception given to him by noted trader Iqbal Beg, Goharullah said work on engineering support center set up at small industrial estate phase-II Hyderabad by federal ministry of industries and production has started. Expressing concern on shortage of electricity and gas, he asked to exempt the industrial zones from power load shedding so that new industries could be established. He told that ministry of industries and production has set up engineering support center at cost of Rs.257 millions. Iqbal Hussain lauded efforts of HCCI president Goharullah and his companions to promote industrial production. On this occasion senior vice president Turab Ali Khwaja, vice president Ziuddin and Akram Rajput were present.
