HYDERABAD: Sindh is a secular society with courage and tolerance for all religious and faiths. Sindhi society has never has hatred in its culture.
Sindhi writers should not forget the place of their birth and each one must write history of a village where he was born. This was stated by them at a book launching ceremony of Dr Rafiq Mangrio’s book ”Tareekh Bazedpu” held here . The ceremony was held at Sindhi Language authority Hall. Renowned writers and intellectuals professor Qalandar Shah Lakiyari, Dr.Ghafoor Memon chairman Sindhi Language Authority, Inayat Baloch former director Radio Pakistan Hyderabad, Nazir Qasmi, Zulfiqar Halepoto and others addressed the ceremony.
They said books written on every village would become history of Sindh. They said writer has written anthropology in clear words which gives rise of history of common man.Writer of book Rafiq Ahmed Mangrio said he has love for land of his village. He said he felt indebted to his village that was why he wrote this book. Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Memon said books are written in large number but number of readers was small. He said history of Sindh has been written in better way in this book. Noor Muhammad Jhinjhi, professor Ismail Kumbar, Idris Soomro, Altaf Joyo and Idris Jatoi also spoke on the occasion.
