A Thrilling Finale to The Dark Knight Trilogy debuts in Pakistan

KARACHI: This summer’s much awaited super-hero flick finally made its screen debut today at Karachi Atrium Cinemas. The Dark Knight Rises which is the 3rd and final instalment of the Dark Knight movie trilogy attracted a lot of celebrities from the entertainment industry of Pakistan who were all excited to discover the fate of The Dark Knight saga on the big screen. The Dark Knight Rises shows a Gotham city where it has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning in that instant, from hero to fugitive.  Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he hoped was the greater good, but all changes when the city sees the arrival of a masked terrorist, Bane, whose ruthless plans for Gotham drives Bruce Wayne out of his self- imposed exile and face to face with possibly his most powerful foe to date. The film has a plethora of super-stars including Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman.
