Madar-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah’s birth anniversary celebrated

ISLAMABAD: The 119th birth anniversary of Madar-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah celebrated on Tuesday in a befitting manner.
Various social and political organizations arranged cake-cutting ceremonies in the whole country to pay tribute to her hard work and efforts for the country and nation.
Madir-e-Milat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah was born on 31st July 1893 in Karachi.
The speakers shed light on her life aspects and her contributions and commitment to the women emancipation and education and her political struggle towards achieving independence and a homeland for the Indian Muslims.
Fatima Jinnah was an upright and intelligent lady and a dauntless soul against heavy odds. She nursed and nourished and stood by her brother Mohammad Ali Jinnah in his efforts and struggle to win freedom and a homeland for the Muslims of India.
Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah showed her mettle and courage to contest presidential election against Field Marshal Ayub Khan when no other man was there to stand against him. She was a good speaker and people rallied round her in large number.
