Sindh Home Department imposes ban on unauthorized cattle markets
KARACHI: Sindh Home Department has imposed ban under Section 144 Cr. P.C. on establishing Cattle Market (Maveshi Mandi) in the areas/locations other than places Super High Way, Malir No 15 Asoo Goth, Cattle Colony Landhi, Rice Godam (Godown), Landhi, Hamdard University, Manghopir Road and Moach Goth, Baldia Town with immediate effect till 13th Zil Hajj 1433 Hijri.
Metropolitan Commissioner Karachi has suggested that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha 2012 from October 10, 2012 (23rd Zil Aqad 1433 Hijri till 13th Zil Hajj 1433 Hijri) Bakra Piris (goat markets)have to be organized at mentioned areas/locations only.
Metropolitan Commissioner said that Bakra Piris being organized other than areas/locations mentioned above will be illegal act and trade of sacrificial animals will also be unlawful. The Police Officer up to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector of concerned Police Stations are authorized under Section 165(1) (a) Cr. P.C. to register the complaints under section 188 PPC in writing for the violation of Section 144 Cr. P.C against the violators of this order.
