Belgian paraglider becomes first ever lone pilot to cross Karakoram

ISLAMABAD: Belgian paraglider and adventurer Tom De Dorlodot has safely landed after a 20 day paragliding trip in the high mountains of the Karakoram in the Himalayas.

In a press conference, paraglider and adventurer Tom De Dorlodot was of the view that he is happy to achieve the feat of 300 kilometers through three of the biggest glaciers on Earth.

He is happy with his feet off the ground adding that it was his second record breaking flight over the region, after his solitary altitude chase in the summer of 2011 in this regard.

This is indeed a moment of great national pride and opportunity to project the positive side of Pakistan in the International Media, he concluded.
